Sunday Runday (last Sunday of every month)

Sunday Runday is a casual, non-coached, social run… a great opportunity to meet other BTC members!  Come join us for a beautiful, Sunday run around Prospect Park (one loop).  We will start at the grassy triangle inside the 15 Street /Prospect Park West entrance where bike/brick workouts meet.

We welcome all speeds. This will be an easy, conversational pace run, where we can chat throughout and get to know each other.  If you want to run off the front you are welcome to and you can wait for us at the end.  If you have a long run planned you can start early and join us for your last 3 miles + recovery snacks, or start with us and continue running after our social loop.  We will have an icebreaker question with intros at the beginning and afterwards we will go out for coffee and bagels, and/or smoothie at any of the places at the Bartel Prichard traffic circle at 15th Street/Prospect Park West.

Off-Season Training Clinic

With race season in the rearview mirror for most BTC athletes and the cooler weather upon us, many of you may be thinking:  “How should I spend my time with no races on my calendar?”  “How do I get my training in when the days get colder and shorter?”  “Off-season?  What the heck is an off-season?  I train 110% 365 days a year!” If you’ve had any of these thoughts, then the BTC Off-Season Training Clinic is for you (especially you, last person)!

Join us on Tuesday, November 22nd at 7 pm for a panel of BTC coaches and members who will take you through the basics of how to structure your off-season to help you get faster for next year, share some off-season training tips, and answer any questions you might have.  This program will be appropriate for athletes of all experience levels, but in particular for beginning and intermediate athletes who may feel like they have not mastered how to spend their off-season or anyone looking to take their training to the next level.  The clinic will be held virtually via Zoom

We plan to cover topics such as:

  • Off-season training concepts and developing an off-season plan
  • Indoor bike trainers and software
  • Strength training
  • Skills development
  • Should you run in running shorts in freezing weather?

We hope to see you there!

If you have any questions that you’d like us to address, please feel free to submit then in advance HERE.  We will do our best to address them at the clinic.
